The short version: our games don't ask who you are, don't show ads and don't track you. Your progress is saved on your own device, and we never receive it.
This policy covers the games made by Nonso Studios ("we", "us") on iPhone, iPad, Android and the web, and this website, nonsostudios.com.
What our games collect
Nothing that identifies you. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no advertising and no analytics or tracking tools in our games.
- Your progress stays on your device. Streaks, solved puzzles and settings are stored locally (in the app's storage, or your browser's storage on the web). They are never sent to us. Deleting the app, or clearing the site's data in your browser, deletes them.
- Sharing is your choice. When you tap Share, the game writes a short, spoiler-free summary of your result. It contains no personal information, and you decide where it goes using your device's share sheet or clipboard.
- Puzzles are made on your device. Each day's puzzle is generated inside the game, so playing doesn't require contacting our servers.
Purchases
If a game offers a subscription or purchase, payment is handled by Apple, Google or, on the web, our payment processor. We receive confirmation of what you're entitled to, never your card details. Their privacy policies apply to the payment itself.
App stores and crash reports
Apple and Google collect some information when you download and use apps from their stores, under their own policies. If you have chosen to share diagnostics with app developers in your device settings, they may pass us anonymous crash reports and usage statistics, which we use only to fix problems.
This website
- No cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts are served from our own server.
- Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, page requested and time) to keep the site secure and running. These logs are kept for a limited period under the host's retention policy and aren't used to identify you.
If you email us
We use your email address and message only to reply to you, and delete them when they're no longer needed. We never add you to a mailing list without asking.
Children
Our games are suitable for all ages. Because they collect no personal information from anyone, they collect none from children.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU and UK, or the CCPA in California), you have rights to access, correct or delete personal information about you. Our games hold no personal information on our side; for anything you've sent us by email, write to us and we'll act on your request promptly. We don't sell or share personal information.
Changes
If what we collect changes, for example if we add optional accounts so you can sync your progress between devices, we'll update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect, and tell you in the game.
